“JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS OUT, THEY PULL ME BACK IN.”

It’s very hard to accept that perspective is everything. Even that deep unconscious perspective that sabotages your most amazing attempts, healings and spiritual “awakenings…” sometimes there is just really deeply-rooted traumas and patterns that are ancestral, past life, generational or even just “learned” survival behaviors based on what you have experienced.

WHAT WE BELIEVE IS WHAT WE PERCEIVE, RECEIVE & ACHIEVE. Period.

You can argue yourself into a corner. You can try to negotiate. You can eat, avoid, shop, deny, hoard, sleep, drug, drink, screw, overwork, over love and help everyone else around you but you, and say,” well at least I’m not this bad or at least this…”

Guess what…the point is that the deep-seated paradigms and fears that literally have guided how you behave in your life and the energy you put out ARE STILL AT WORK.

It may not be THAT BAD it may seem like it’s better.

What I have noticed for myself, friends, clients and students is that no matter what, if that core belief is at work, the situations might look more sophisticated and they may appear more “evolved.”

The core theme song is still playing and yeah, you’re still dancing to that tune.

Fear of marrying the wrong guy: ” Oh well at least I didn’t marry the wrong person! I notice and have the courage to break up with them!”

Fear of lack of prosperity: “If I pay off my debts, I will no longer have this fear or it won’t be as strong.”

You might feel smug that you didn’t marry the wrong one ( congrats!) but are you in a loving relationship now?

Probably not because some trauma, belief or pattern you may not even have unearthed yet is at play. You believe you may have healed that belief but yet, your partners may still let you down and therefore turn out to be “wrong.”

You most likely can be dating conscious, awesome men who might suddenly turn up smelling less beautiful than compost when their hidden agenda comes out.

Yes, you may have a great plan to be debt-free ( always awesome) but if you have a fear of lack…you will pay off debt AND then your car, back or job gives out.

Your husband can be laid off and a baby on the way..No matter what happens, there’s is always a new bill or issue. You are not “poor” but you are always paying bills and then when near the “finish line” a new more difficult challenge may arise.

SOMETHING will always come up to kick your butt, “JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS OUT, THEY PULL ME BACK IN!”

Fear of success and/or failure: ” I work too much, I am too busy and sick/tired/overworked to do what I really love!”

Interesting that when you finally do have the opportunity, the way seems blocked. Blocked by all the “stuff” that you’ve avoided over the years!

The great news is that thankfully, there is an amazing opportunity to now heal and transform that stuff to get to the juicy part of making your dreams come true!

SO don’t feel too bad because it’s kind of like the work we are here to do on Earth School.

EVOLVE past the physical limitations that we perceive as “real” when in truth we are unlimited beings. Things will keep repeating, recycling and REVOLVING until we take the time to pay true attention.

We, human beings are creatures of habit.
We, human beings are creatures of comfort that like to avoid pain…
we human beings ARE also beings of unlimited potential, beauty, strength and courage.

I had a million reasons as to why I couldn’t do my work full time.
From:

* I need more training!
* Who the hell do I think I am
* I will starve and have to go back to my day work
* People won’t understand what I do
* I have no START UP money
ohhh this one…

I HAVE NO TIME.

So I started to align myself with the belief that I was completely and utterly born and destined to do this work. That I was powerful, relentless and unstoppable. That no matter what happened..I would find a way and succeed.

Then…

* serious surgery led me back to a job for benefits
* Lay off day before surgery
* Painful break up post-surgery
* Car accident on 12/21/12
* found out I had MRSA for 3 months and doctors hadn’t seen it…

Perfect combination to give up my place in NYC and run screaming to family in Miami? or run screaming to the corporate world? and it’s ok to go back to day job, I am sharing MY experience with my beliefs.

IT WAS A PEFECT SET-UP TO CAVE TO OLD BELIEFS…

I didn’t..
WHY?

I had already crossed over.
Not in the going to the other side crossing over, in the sense that I had transformed my beliefs that I couldn’t make it.

No start-up money.
Not too much in the bank even for next rent…

NO financial support.

ANd guess what,
I was unstoppable because I WAS BORN TO DO THIS.

I also had soul allies who loved and supported me, both alive and in spirit.
THERE WAS NO WAY I COULD LOSE…or so I BELIEVED.

Key words: so I BELIEVED.

Through tears I created a month long program.
It was filled.
Through some fears I created a 9 month program.
It was filled.

Three years later, I am still here. Doing what I love!!!
Internationally!

If we want to EVOLVE we have to stop REVOLVING.

That takes a desire to want a new reality.
That takes courage.
It takes a level of attention and vulnerability.

It takes someone who has been there and done it for themselves and their clients and students.

NEW MOON in Aries, the first of Spring is firing us up for this new beginning. The New Moon is all about new beginnings and ARIES the initiator. warrior, pioneer and adventurer. QUESTION: I am not clear how knowing all of our past lives helps us with this life.
ANSWER: It’s not just knowing. Its asking deep-seated questions that have plagued us in this life AND some of those questions can guide us to childhood issues and traumas but sometimes they don’t.

Asking these deep questions guide us to other lives…suddenly you go to the core of the problem. Kind of relive it. It suddenly makes sense. Then after I guide you to the HIgher Self and ask the HIgher self of the client to explain lessons learned, how to heal current issues and how to integrate the talents.

So what happens is that past life patterns, pains and trauma can repeat and repeat in this life energetically bleeding into our lives.

We think perhaps that there is “one” awakening or transformation when in truth our existence on earth is all about cycling thru awarenesses and awakenings.

Higher Self said this am: Cling not to your well-worn wings, for new ones await.
Growth is always abit scary as it takes us beyond our comfort zone.

When we are on the “fasttrack” it happens even more often then we like. Especially if we are guiding, teaching & suporting others. There is nothing stagnant in the Universe and as such, we must accept ( when & if we are ready) that we are born shapeshifters and cling not too tightly to what we know. FULL MOON IN VIRGO…it’s late and this Virgo energy-just-wouldn’t-let-me-go-to-bed-without posting! FOCUS, she said!

FULL MOON is a time of the fullest power and a high point in a process of manifesting through the moon cycles. It’s time to gather our resources and go FULL out with whatever we are doing and planning!

Virgo though often seen as simply serviceable and detail oriented is actually the healer/priestess of the chart!

Learning to connect the earth and the mind ( Virgo is an EARTH sign ruled by Mercury-Air) she patiently tends her offerings, projects, patients and sacred work. By tending to the everyday DETAILS she guides us to create massive changes and creations that can make huge IMPACT.
Many of us embrace the Piscean ( Sun is in Pisces now) aspect of fantasy, dreaminess and soulful connection that Pisces can bring, yet it is the Virgo energy that can guide us AND actually get the job done for us.

It’s a great time to envision, focus, fine-tune, clear out, renovate and restructure our mind, bodies and spirits.

Virgo has done her work on me today as I just got off the phone with an awesome intuitive that will be joining my team in sales. Intuitive Oracle session turned into mediumship session. My client asked about her departed sister and just gave me her name. I saw her having been distant from the family and that she was in a better place. Said that what happened to her was bigger than the family and apologized to my client.

Feels really wonderful to support clients in getting closure with their departed. Hearing messages and seeing actual events that transpired and getting confirmation thru my client’s tears…brought shivers through me. Her sister apologized for not being there for her and said she missed the last wedding but will attend her future one.

Client shared she cancelled a wedding 6 months before the date and was afraid that she would never marry. Her sister said,” You will and I will give you a sign I am there.”

Her parting words,” Thank you for being the first one in the family who dared to ask for more, for not settling and for walking a more conscious journey. I love you and I believe in you. Thank you.”

So many times in my Intuitive Oracle sessions, I share information that no one else knows about the client. This allows the client to trust that truly their guides are with us and that this is real. Often what follows is also insight, pattern awareness and deep clarity around health, love, career and business. I can also tell you as an intuitive for over 20 years that at some part of the reading the client says,” I had a feeling. I knew deep down…”

We ARE ALL intuitive. I’ve always believed that and have seen it across the board with international clients and students. We ALL have an inner voice, a gut feeling and a sense of the invisible world.

What makes the difference in EVERYONE being intuitive and SOME people actually being aware, understanding their gift and using it?

LISTENING. TRUSTING & ALLOWING.

Allow whatever comes up.

I spoke with an intuitive that I am mentoring yesterday and was reminded of something that took me quite a bit to learn. I feel called to share because so many of us have experienced this at some point.

I noticed that after having raised her rate at my urging and after many comments from clients, she suddenly decide to dip back down to a lower rate…

I asked her,” Why did you charge so low after having charged a higher rate?”
She laughed and said,” I shared it on my website after our call because I knew you’d give me a smack down. I could hear your voice in my head questioning me on the decision and I was driven to do it”

“What did you learn from this?” I asked.

” I learned alot though! I realized that I wasn’t valuing my gift and by charging so low and being so tired and overbooked…I realized my worth and I AM OVER IT!”

We both laughed and I told her, I had seen her social media after our call and was like,” Ohhh she didn’t mention this because I would’ve argued against it.” LOL.

She then said,” Well, now I know that need to value my gift but I just don’t know how I will get the higher paying clients? Where do I find them???”

I remembered this so well!
“You don’t,” I said.
“They find YOU.”

We all talk about the asking and receiving and co-creating our realities then it seems with our intuitive businesses or any other business, that we forget the UNIVERSE/GOD is our Boss…so we ask and we do receive!”

That may mean releasing deep-seated fears, beliefs and money stories…it may mean doing some deep transformative work. It may mean setting yourself up to suffer a bit until you are DONE. Our life is constantly reflecting lessons back to us and inviting us to evolve PAST revolving.

Now that doesn’t mean that we don’t do certain things like write blogs, do podcasts and teach online and in person but we SHOW UP & THEY SHOW UP.

The truth is that as we keep showing up and serving wherever we are…people take notice. They connect and feel aligned with the message, the journey and the work.
It’s like the whole “Field of Dreams”thing…BUILD IT. THEY WILL COME.
I can’t tell you over and over how this has played out in my life!

From building the discipline and the sacred container that is my mind/body & spirit so that I can see/hear/feel and know intuitive information whenever and wherever I am. To creating events, workshops, online programs that are filled with aligned people who truly appreciate the journey together!

OVERWHELM can arrive in many forms. We’ve packed on so much on our to-do list or life has suddenly thrown some interesting twists our way. Whether we are choosing a surgeon, a lawyer, a graduate school program or whether or not to have children…we are, all of us, always dealing with multiple choices and possibilities.

Doctoral degrees.Career choices or changes. Illness and death. Entrepreneurial dreams. Marriage. Divorce. Break-ups. Graduations. Births. We are all dealing with them. Some flow better and others may collapse under the stress…

How do we make sense of it all and build lives that make us happy?

One of the keys to being happy and making choices that support our wellness is checking in which “what we believe about what we are going through.”

In that sense HOW we choose to see, believe and experience something will DEFINE the experience, the impact and the consequences to our health.

We have all heard terrible stories of war, concentration camps and violence…the survivors who thrive tend to have a belief in hope, faith and the undying will that will get them through. Many people come through marked but not destroyed from terrible ordeals because they CHOOSE to see their experiences in a certain light.

SO as you navigate your nasty boss, difficult relationship or the many decisions that shape your life…start to CHOOSE how you look at it.

I remember years ago, I worked a day job and at night I coat checked at nightclubs. This meant I was often working from 9am till 4am with maybe a 2 hour break. It wasn’t every day, only 3-4 days a week but getting only 3 hours of sleep before I hit the day job or the homework ( I was in college too) were not easy.

I remember many early mornings (4am ish) in the taxi crossing the 59th street bridge, tears streaming down my face and thinking,” This is all worth it. This is building my will, my focus and paying off school debt…” Then,” Oh please God/Universe please let this all work out!”

At the time, I knew I had special talents that weren’t necessarily on a university’s curriculum or on a degree. I didn’t know how my interest in media, metaphysics, healing and empowerment as well as the arts would somehow work out.

FLASH FORWARD: to last week. I was coming home from a few meetings in the city and 2 in-person intuitive sessions. When I do in-persons, my clients pay for transportation and I was looking out the back window of a taxi when I saw the familiar view, the one I’d seen for several years as I worked two jobs and finished school.

Tears slid down my face and I laughed. It was all worth it. I knew it would all pay off. I always believed. I have strong conviction and a deep devotion to my special service. SOMEHOW it would work out as long as I kept stepping up. It did.

What you BELIEVE
is what you PERCEIVE
and therefore RECEIVE and ACHIEVE.
I didn’t create that phrase but I sure do believe it AND have witnessed it over and over with students, clients and people all over the world.

As a clinical hypnotherapist, BELIEFS are at the core. HOW we SEE EVERYTHING SHAPES OUR EXPERIENCE.

Our parents can be people who don’t believe in us and nag us or they can love us and want the best for us.

Our boss can be a hateful devil or a great trickster that the Universe is employing to let you know, “CHILD, you do not belong here!”

Check in with yourself. When something feels limiting and constraining ask yourself,” If everything was being created for me….even the tensions and the stresses…what could I be learning? How can I step into greater courage, strength and communication by handling this situation now?”

Ahhhh…yes. We can choose to stay hidden in a box, remember if we argue for our limitations, they are surely ours!

IF we seek opportunities for growth and expansion, they are ours as well!
